Heated Temptations: BBC Sherlock x Reader Chpt. 6

Chapter 6

You and Sherlock arrived at Hiddleston U. Sherlock stared at the huge green building that stood before his eyes. Sherlock entered the building, allowing you to tug on his coat. Part of the building had been blocked off due to the recent events, making the atmosphere very stiff. You wanted to mention the earlier events that happened today, however you felt like it wasn’t the right time.

    The silence was finally broken by the sound of footsteps approaching the two of you. “Why, you must be the famous Sherlock Holmes, I presume.” said the voice you recognized to be your teacher.  

    “Mr. Williams!” you shouted letting go of Sherlock. Mr. Williams smiled at you, and at Sherlock as he greeted you with a hug.

    “And here I thought all of my students were supposed to be at the hospital.” he mused. “I assume you want to see the crime scene? I thought the police were coming later today.”

    “My goal was to beat those imbeciles” Sherlock muttered.

    “What was that?” your teacher said.

    “Oh just ignore him.” you said smiling as Mr. Williams brought you both to the room. He opened the door for Sherlock, letting him enter first.

    Sherlock examines the room, his eyes shifting about to find clues. The crime scene had barely been altered; the light blood stains on the window, chairs thrown on the floor, as well as test tubes still full. Excitement filled his mind as he started to tamper with the room. However, it did come as a surprise to Sherlock when you managed to find your seat (where all the blood was), without help from Mr. Williams.

    “You’re in here often?” he inquired.

    “Often would be an understatement; I practically live here. Well, lived here.” you replied as you kicked your feet. “So many good memories in here, you know?”

    “Can’t imagine any really, this place smells.”

    “I can assure you old test tubes and blood isn’t the normal scent of this room.”

    Mr. Williams observed the two of you converse back and forth to each other, seeming to forget his presence. It sounded as if you were friends for a long time.

    “They go together well, huh?” a voice said to Mr. Williams from behind.

    “John!” you screamed in excitement. You jumped off your seat and spring towards him. “I thought you had a date why are you here?”

    He quickly grabs you before you bang into a wall. “Well...you see…” he began.

    “Let me guess, she was a no show?” you could hear the happiness in Sherlock’s question.

    John’s grasp on your shoulder became tighter, and his voice became rather annoyed. “For your information, I think she accidentally gave me the wrong number.” he said. Everyone stopped to laugh. ‘The wrong number’ you said to yourself in your head.

    “I’m sorry love, but girls don’t give ‘a wrong number’ it’s either she liked you or she didn’t.” You said pushing his belly button. “If she liked you a lot, trust me, she would’ve double-checked.” John sighed in defeat, and released his tensed hands from your shoulder.

    “I guess you’re right…” he murmured.

    Sherlock finally stopped observing the room and started to walk towards them. “I’m done” he said. “Let’s go back home for now.”
